Augusto is a partner in the Corporate and M&A practice at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.

He specialises in securities markets, securitizations, corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions.
Augusto is Secretary Non-Director of the Board of Directors and of the Audit and Appointments and Remuneration Committees of several listed companies.

He holds a law degree from Universidad San Pablo CEU and a Master of Laws (LLM with honours) from Northwestern University School of Law (Chicago). Additionally, he obtained a certificate in Business Administration (CBA) from IE Business School.

Augusto has been highlighted as Highly Regarded in the last year by IFLR 1000 for his work and extensive experience in the Capital Markets area. In addition, he has also been recognised in the prestigious legal directory Chambers & Partners as one of the leading practitioners in the areas of Corporate/M&A and Capital Markets: Equity.

He has participated as an author or coauthor in several specialised legal publications.
