GA_P advises Predica (Crédit Agricole Group) on the sale of 5% of Société Foncière Lyonnaise to Colonial.

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Predica (a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Group) on the sale of 5% of Société Foncière Lyonnaise (SFL) to Colonial. The transaction was carried out through a non-cash capital increase for an effective amount of 225 million euros.
This transaction is part of the overall transaction for the purchase of 100% of SFL by Colonial, which is expected to be closed in the coming months, following an investment of around 800 million euros.
The GA_P team has been formed by Guillermo Guerra, Jacobo Palanca and Clara Rivero, partner and associates of the Corporate area and Javier Vinuesa, partner of the Tax area.

Financial institutions’ customer services following Act 10/2025
Act 10/2025 reforms the regime governing financial institutions’ customer services and introduces a procedure for the submission, processing and resolution of complaints filed by their customers, including special provisions when such customers are consumers, such as a free helpline and the availability of channels that allow for personalised service to vulnerable consumers or people without access to certain basic financial services that are not defined in the new law.
