Javier is a partner in the Tax practice at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.

With more than 20 years of experience, he specialises in national and international tax law, corporate taxation, tax litigation and wealth taxation.

He has led transactional tax teams advising on M&A transactions, complex real estate transactions, restructurings and refinancing.

He also advises family businesses in coordination with wealth planners of banking institutions.

Lawyer and Economist, Master in Tax Law by Garrigues Centre of Studies, he is also Honorary Collaborator of the Finance and Tax Department of the Complutense University of Madrid and lecturer in several masters.

He has participated as author and coauthor in several specialised legal publications and is recognised by the prestigious legal directory Chambers & Partners as one of the leading professionals in the area of Tax and Wealth Management.
