La nueva Ley del Sector Eléctrico inicia su tramitación parlamentaria

En el marco del Programa Nacional de Reformas, el Consejo de Ministros celebrado el 20 de septiembre, ha aprobado el envío al Congreso del Proyecto de Ley del Sector Eléctrico, que deroga casi en su totalidad la vigente Ley 54/1997 y reforma íntegramente el sector en busca de la estabilidad económica y financiera.En espera de la publicación del texto definitivamente aprobado por el Consejo de Ministros, este documento solo pretende dar cuenta del envío a las Cortes del Proyecto de Ley del Sector Eléctrico (en adelante, PLSE) e informar brevemente de su contenido, a la vista de las parcas notas de prensa difundidas por el Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo. El texto ha sido previamente informado por la Comisión Nacional de Energía (Informe 16/2013 de la CNE sobre el Anteproyecto de Ley del Sector Eléctrico, aprobado por el Consejo en su sesión de 31 de julio de 2013), así como por la Comisión Nacional de Competencia (IPN 103/13, Anteproyecto de Ley del Sector Eléctrico, 9 de septiembre de 2013).
