Verónica es socia de Bancario y Financiero, responsable de Energía y miembro del Consejo de Administración de Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.
Tiene amplia experiencia en operaciones relacionadas con energía e infraestructuras, con un perfil global que abarca el asesoramiento a clientes nacionales e internacionales de primer nivel, tanto operaciones de adquisición como de financiación de activos en sectores regulados. Ha participado en un número muy relevante de los procesos de adquisición y financiación que se han llevado a cabo en dichos sectores. Su experiencia incluye también financiaciones de adquisición, financiación corporativa y préstamos sindicados, operaciones de refinanciación y de reestructuración empresarial.
Es licenciada en Derecho por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Cursó el máster de Bolsa y Mercados Financieros por el Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB) y realizó el curso avanzado de Derecho de la Energía por el Instituto de Empresa (IE).
Verónica está reconocida como Leading Individual en Legal 500 en la categoría de Projects and Energy, Band 1 en Chambers & Partners en la categoría de Project Finance y Band 2 en Energy & Natural Resources y Banking & Finance. Además, ha sido destacada como Highly Regarded en los últimos años por IFLR 1000 por su labor y su amplia experiencia en las áreas de Restructuring & Insolvency y Banking & Project Finance y actualmente es una de las abogadas más activas en M&A y Energía en España.
