GA_P Portugal contributes to the “International Insolvency & Restructuring Review 2025/26”

The Restructuring and Special Situations team at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo’s Lisbon office has contributed with an exclusive chapter on the Portuguese jurisdiction to the International Insolvency & Restructuring Review 2025/26, published by Beaumont Capital Markets.

For the purposes of the article, the team—comprising head partner Filipa Cotta and associates Rita Espírito Santo, Gonçalo Jardim, and Henrique Simões—focused exclusively on the general rules applicable to insolvency and restructuring proceedings, analysing how these rules were applied in two of the largest and most successful insolvency cases in Portugal.
