GA_P advises Finlight on the acquisition of 89.79 MW and a total of 186 self-consumption facilities from EiDF Solar

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Finlight Renewable Energy (Powen Group) in the acquisition of up to 89.79 MW and a total of 186 self-consumption facilities from EiDF Solar, a company listed on BME Growth and specialized in industrial self-consumption solar plants.

The first phase of the agreement involves the acquisition of up to 72 industrial self-consumption plants, of which 31 are built and in production, 14 are under construction and 27 are under development. The total capacity of the plants amounts to 57.19 MW. In a subsequent phase, Finlight would acquire up to a maximum of 114 additional plants, with a capacity of 32.60 MW, on which a purchase option has been reserved once the respective PPA contracts are signed.

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo’s legal team, which has participated in this transaction together with Finlight’s in-house legal team, led by Blanca Arnus de Soto and Jimena Jorro Gómez-Múgica, has been led by Diego Martínez Colino, senior associate of Corporate Law together with the members of his team, Fernando Aldavero, Paula Chapela and Guillermo Menéndez, associates of Corporate and Carla Fandiño, associate of  Tax.
