Las menciones sobre la administración de un complemento alimenticio como declaraciones de propiedades saludables

El Reglamento (CE) 1924/2006 define como declaraciones de propiedades saludables cualquier mensaje que vincule un alimento con la salud, entendido este vínculo en sentido amplio por el Tribunal de Justicia. Las indicaciones sobre frecuencia o vía de administración de complementos alimenticios pueden constituir tales declaraciones cuando sugieren beneficios para la salud. En las declaraciones de reducción de riesgo de enfermedad, la advertencia obligatoria no requiere literalidad, aunque debe transmitir el mismo mensaje y ubicarse donde sea fácilmente accesible para el consumidor.
