Guía de la AEPD sobre el uso de videocámaras para seguridad y otras finalidades

La Agencia de Protección de Datos ha publicado un documento titulado «Protección de datos: Guía sobre el uso de videocámaras para seguridad y otras finalidades», que puede verse en https://www.aepd.es/media/guias/guia-videovigilancia.pdf y que viene a sustituir a la anterior «Guía de videovigilancia».

En la primera parte del nuevo documento se analiza el uso de las videocámaras con fines de seguridad, incluido también el análisis de supuestos específicos.

Asimismo y en la segunda parte, se recogen numerosos casos en que las videocámaras se utilizan para finalidades diferentes de las de la seguridad (sanitarias, laborales, grabaciones de sesiones de órganos colegiados, etcétera).
Todo ello se hace teniendo en cuenta la aplicación del Reglamento General de Protección de Datos.
