Decreto-Lei n.º 20/2013, de 14 de Fevereiro. Novo Sistema Nacional de Farmacovigilância

O Sistema Nacional de Farmacovigilância compreende um conjunto articulado de regras e meios materiais e humanos tendentes à prossecução dos seguintes objetivos: (i) recolha sistemática de informações sobre os riscos dos medicamentos para os doentes ou para a saúde pública, principalmente no que respeita às reações adversas, (ii) avaliação científica da informação referida anteriormente, (iii) ponderação das medidas de segurança adequadas à prevenção ou minimização de riscos, (iv) adoção de medidas regulamentares necessárias, respeitantes à autorização de introdução no mercado, (v) tratamento e processamento de informação, (vi) comunicação e divulgação de outra informação pertinente aos profissionais de saúde, aos doentes e ao público em geral.
