En el BOE de 26 de diciembre de 2013 aparece la Ley de Presupuestos Generales del Estado para 2014, que ocupa 528 páginas de BOE (239 de texto normativo; el resto, de anexos), estando integrada por 129 artículos, 89 Disposiciones Adicionales, 6 Transitorias, 3 derogatorias y 32 Disposiciones finales.Además, de albergar en su propio articulado importantes previsiones en materias sociolaborales, modifica la Ley sobre Seguridad Social de los Funcionarios Civiles del Estado; la Ley de Medidas para la Reforma de la Función Pública; el Estatuto de los Trabajadores; la Ley General de la Seguridad Social; la LOFAGE; la Ley de ayudas y asistencia a las víctimas de delitos violentos y contra la libertad sexual; la Ley de Clases Pasivas del Estado; la Ley General Presupuestaria, entre otras.
