Santiago Garrido de las Heras
Santiago is a partner in the Public Law and Regulated Sectors practice at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.
He is specialised in environment, energy and other regulated sectors such as climate change, sustainable development, pharma, mining, consumption and public contracting.
Throughout his extensive career, Santiago has advised both Spanish and foreign companies, as well as business associations and collectives, on administrative and judicial proceedings, chiefly on matters related to the environment, energy and natural resources. He has also collaborated on the development of draft laws and regulations.
He holds a Degree in Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid, a master’s degree in Environmental Policy and Management from Carlos III University and a master’s degree in International Business Law from IE University.
Santiago has been recognised by prestigious legal directories Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 as one of the leading professionals in the Energy and Natural Resource areas.
