João is a senior associate in the Planning practice at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.

He specialises in administrative law, town and country planning, the environment and energy.

He holds a Law degree and a master on Legal Forensic Sciences (Public Law field) from University of Coimbra. João has also a postgraduate degree on Public Regulation and Competition from Centro de Estudos de Direito Público e Regulação (CEDIPRE) and a specialization course in Territorial Planning Law, Urban Planning Law and Environmental Law from Centro de Estudos de Direito do Ordenamento, do Urbanismo e do Ambiente (CEDOUA).
