Pablo Fernández Cortijo comments in Capital & Corporate on the revival and growth of Private Equity and M&A in 2025.

On a general level, there is no clear market recovery. It seems that the figures point to a very slight growth in M&A activity for 2024, particularly in private equity. With the exception of very attractive assets, deals are becoming longer and more uncertain, with a high number of abortions. They are also requiring more creative solutions in order to close.
