GA_P advises Caixabank on a €750m financing to Sonnedix

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Caixabank, S.A. on a €750 million refinancing transaction in favour of Sonnedix for a 197 MW portfolio of regulated assets in Spain, consolidating seven financings into one.

This financing deal marks an important milestone for Sonnedix as it provides significant financial flexibility and the ability to accelerate its pipeline of projects under development. By refinancing existing assets, Sonnedix has also created a solid platform from which it can expand its commercialisation and hybridisation strategy, develop wind and storage assets alongside its solar PV projects, and reach new customers.

The transaction was led by Verónica Romaní, José Francisco Canalejas, Juan Pérez, Íñigo González de Echávarri and Jimena Sánchez.
