GA_P strengthens its position in Spanish Real Estate M&A in 2025

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has reinforced its presence among the most active firms in the Spanish real estate mergers and acquisitions market, according to the 2025 annual ranking by TTR Data.
The firm ranks fifth in terms of transactions advised, with a total of 23 deals, in a context of high investor activity and increasingly sophisticated operations. The ranking reflects a year of strong momentum in real estate M&A, driven by interest in rental residential properties, hotel assets, the return of office deals, and the growth of alternative assets.

Continuing or permanent building damage and risk of no limitation period (Supreme Court (Civil Division) Judgment no. 1463/2025 of 21 October 2025)
With regard to actions under the Building (Unified Regulation) Act, the Supreme Court reaffirms that there is no continuing damage, but rather permanent damage. The solution is more efficient for all parties, as well as fairer. Also cheaper for the judicial system.
