G\u00f3mez-Acebo &amp; Pombo.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>He specialises in banking and finance, with special focus on domestic\/cross-border transactions, foreign and domestic financial institutions, insurance institutions and blue-chip companies including debt restructuring and syndicated lending, as well as significant M&amp;A work. Filipe also advises on general distressed lending matters and debt and claims trading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He holds a Law degree and a post-graduation in Securities and Insurance Law from the University of Lisbon and a post-graduation in Business Law from Catholic University of Portugal. He holds a master\u2019s in Legal Science (Banking Law &#8211; &#8220;As obriga\u00e7\u00f5es hipotec\u00e1rias&#8221;) from the University of Lisbon. PhD at the University of Salamanca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Filipe has been highlighted as a Rising Star in recent years by IFLR1000 for his work and extensive experience in the areas of Banking and Financial Restructuring.
