The energy transition, regulatory changes and the complexity of projects are fuelling a rise in legal disputes.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Litigation teams at major law firms are anticipating a year of intense judicial activity, with growing disputes in strategic sectors and increasingly sophisticated controversies. Energy, infrastructure and large-scale business projects are expected to account for a significant share of the disputes ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this context, Rafael Murillo, litigation partner at G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo, places the energy sector at the heart of the surge in litigation. \u201cWe expect a spike in disputes arising from the blackout and difficulties in accessing the grid,\u201d he explains.
