G\u00f3mez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Siemens Gamesa on the sale of its power electronics business to the Swiss listed multinational ABB.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
The deal includes the transfer of about 400 employees, two manufacturing plants located in Spain, as well as additional assets in the US, China, India and Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With this transaction, Siemens Gamesa continues to pursue its strategy of focusing on its core business, reinforcing its leading position worldwide. The transaction is subject to the corresponding regulatory approvals, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
